CHERRY VALLEY — The Cherry Valley Fire Department has received several grants to help better serve the community.
The department has received a $50,000 grant through the Gary Sinise Foundation. The money will be used to purchase new air packs for firefighters.
The department also recently received a $1,000 grant through the Cross County Community Foundation. That grant will be used to buy first aid kits for first responders and firefighters, helping ensure volunteers have important supplies when responding to emergencies.
