CHERRY VALLEY — It’s time for the Cross County basketball Lady Thunderbirds’ annual Free Throw-a-Thon fundraiser.
This year’s Free Throw-a-Thon is set for Monday, Aug. 31. Each player is asked to get sponsors to donate either a flat amount or a price per free throw they make out of 100 shots.
For example, if an individual sponsors 50 cents per make and the player makes 50 out of 100 free throws, they will donate $25.
Donations will help support the Lady T-Birds’ basketball program during the upcoming season.
