WYNNE — Two Wynne volleyball Lady Jackets have been named to the “Best Under the Sun” list for the 2025 season.
Wynne’s Lia Bunch and Ella Reed have been recognized among the best volleyball players in Northeast Arkansas, according to CityYouth Ministries, host of the annual “Best Under the Sun” banquet.
That banquet is set for Thursday, July 23, at the Embassy Suites on the campus of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
Former Wynne Lady Jackets coach and current Jonesboro Westside coach Codie Lancaster Zeigler was named the Coach of the Year. Westside’s Mattyx Cureton was named Player of the Year and Lynley Seyler of Brookland the Newcomer of the Year.
Cassie Carlson and Cali Jo Heeb of Harrisburg are also on this year’s “Best Under the Sun” list for volleyball.
