WYNNE — The Wynne Rotary Club welcomed Matthew Emberton, District 1 engineer for the Arkansas Department of Transportation, during its weekly meeting Wednesday.
Emberton provided several updates from across District 1, including the new I-55 bridge project known as Kings’ Crossing and other key improvement projects.
Emberton discussed how the investments will improve traffic safety, strengthen connections for freight and daily travel, and support growth across the district.
Wynne Rotary also recognized its September Students of the Month from Wynne High School. They are Braylon Cisero, Matthew Hodges and Lana Jones.
The Wynne Rotary Club meets at noon Wednesdays at the Wynne Church of Christ.
