WYNNE — An investigation remains ongoing after Wynne police took two men into custody Thursday following a probation search in the 1000 block of Forrest Avenue.
Capt. Daniel Getchell of the Wynne Police Department said officers found two semi-automatic handguns and a semi-automatic rifle during the search.
Two men inside the house — Jashone Morris, 20, and Quande Callaway, 22 — were taken into custody. Both men were on probation.
They are being held in the Cross County Detention Center on three counts of possession of firearms by certain persons and endangering the welfare of a minor.
More arrests could be forthcoming in the case.
