WYNNE — Students in the Wynne Intermediate School House of Reveur visited the Wynne Police Department, Wynne Fire Department, and Cross County Sheriff’s Office yesterday in honor of National Police Week.
National Police Week has been celebrated since 1962 during the week of May 15 and is a time to remember and honor law enforcement officers.
At the sheriff’s office, the students learned what happens when individuals call 911 and how information is shared between deputies, officers, and county fire departments.
