Wynne High School students are back on one campus together – a campus the district will utilize for at least the next three years.

The temporary high school campus opened for classes yesterday. Wynne Superintendent Dr. Kenneth Moore said to be able to reach that accomplishment took divine intervention.

A total of 747 students in grades 9 through 12 attend classes at the temporary site. Dr. Moore said the temporary site will be used for at least three years, plus another 36 to 48 months while the new high school is constructed.

Dr. Moore said it has been an emotional journey for students and others in the Wynne School District to get to this point.
