WYNNE — The Wynne Fire Department has started a monthly firefighter spotlight on its Facebook page.
For April, the department is highlighting Capt. Gerald Britton.
The department said Capt. Britton plays a vital role in the department, and his leadership and upbeat attitude are an encouragement to the employees of the city and those who know him outside of firefighting.
Capt. Britton has served 37 years with the Wynne Fire Department. He also works at County Line Irrigation and enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time.
Capt. Britton said his favorite part of the job is the brotherhood and connections he has made with his fellow firefighters from across the country.
