WYNNE — The City of Wynne is exploring the replacement of three bridges within the city limits.
Wynne Mayor Jennifer Hobbs and the city’s Public Works Director Jeff Hood recently met with an engineer to discuss the replacement of the bridges.
The city is currently applying for a grant through the Delta Regional Authority to help offset the cost of replacing the bridges.
Shortly after taking office, Mayor Hobbs finalized the replacement of the J Street bridge to alleviate drainage issues in that area.
She said the DRA grant could potentially allow for the replacement of the three bridges at no additional cost to the city.
