HARRISBURG, Ark. — Work is continuing on the elevator project at the Poinsett County Courthouse in Harrisburg.
The county said construction on the elevator started on the north side of the courthouse in July. Drainage and foundation work have also been underway since that time.
Recently, concrete work on the basement was completed.
The next step for the project is framing on the exterior wall.
A grant from the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program is helping the county complete this needed project.
