Women arrested after calling police about suspicious person

WYNNE — The Wynne Police Department took two women into custody Tuesday night after responding to a call about an individual walking around a house on John Brown Road.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with Selena Nauden, 45, and Paulette Moore, 41, who had placed the call to police.

Officers weren’t able to find anyone on the property. However, when the two women exited their vehicle, police said a small baggie of methamphetamine fell from the vehicle.

The women were taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine and booked into the Cross County Detention Center.
