West Memphis police officer decertified after firing

WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — A fourth and final West Memphis police officer fired last year has been officially decertified by the Arkansas State Police standards board.

The board decertified Mose Walker at a meeting in Little Rock.

The board concluded that Walker acted in a way that created a pervasive climate of fear within the West Memphis Police Department prior to his August 2025 firing.

The board found that Walker had sexually harassed another officer and used his position to sway the female officer to recant her complaint.

The other officers, Stacy Allen and Treasure Gaither, were also fired and decertified by the Arkansas State Police standards board. Blake Forthman was also fired, but the board denied the request to decertify him.
