VILLAGE CREEK — Village Creek State Park has been recognized by Arkansas Lt. Gov. Leslie Rutledge as part of Rutledge’s “250 Reasons to Love Arkansas.”
The list is being compiled in celebration of America250, with Village Creek State Park listed at No. 139.
In the post, Rutledge focused on Village Creek’s equestrian camp, which features stalls, wash stations and round pens, and about 25 miles of equestrian trails, which run through the park, allowing people to ride over ridge tops and through bottomland along Crowley’s Ridge.
