FORREST CITY — The University of Arkansas-East Arkansas Community College 2026-27 Fine Arts Center season will begin in just over one month with Foreigner, who will perform Saturday, Oct. 3.

The lineup also includes Lorrie Morgan on Saturday, Nov. 7; Shenandoah on Saturday, Jan. 23; Chicago on Friday, April 2; and Yacht Rock the Dock with Ambrosia, Elliot Lurie, John Ford Coley, and Walter Egan on Saturday, May 1.

Niki Jones, manager of the Fine Arts Center, said putting together the season truly takes a team effort.

“It takes all of us working together. It is not something that one person does. It takes everybody coming together and to have input on everything,” Jones said. “We really want to offer a variety. I think that’s sometimes the struggle is to make sure that we have something for everyone. We try to find a balance with that every year.

“Sometimes it takes a while. We have been working with Chicago for three or four years now,” she added. “I think sometimes the challenge is waiting for all those pieces to fall into place. They actually reached out to us this year and said, ‘Do you have this Friday?’ and we said, ‘Yes, we’ll take it.’ Sometimes those are conversations that go on for some time.”

Tickets for Foreigner’s 50th Anniversary tour are $59 and are available online at UAEACC.edu, by calling 870-633-4480, ext. 352, or in person at the Fine Arts Center Ticket Office. Season subscription packages are available and save 20%.

The UA-EACC Fine Arts Center is located at 1700 Newcastle Road in Forrest City, just off Interstate 40.
