FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Two former Razorbacks are getting a call from the Hall.
Leotis Harris, who was the first Black player at Arkansas to earn All-American honors, is officially on the ballot for the College Football Hall of Fame.
Harris played for Arkansas during the mid-1970s. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 1978 NFL Draft and played for six seasons for the Green Bay Packers.
Meanwhile, Barry Foster, an Arkansas Razorback during the late 1980s, has been inducted into the Southwest Conference Hall of Fame.
Foster was part of back-to-back Southwest Conference Championship teams in 1988 and 1989, who made trips to the Cotton Bowl Classic in Dallas on New Year’s Day. Foster was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1990 and played for several years for the Steelers and Carolina Panthers. He was a two-time Pro Bowl selection in 1992 and 1993.
