WYNNE — A benefit bake sale will be held this Friday at the Cross County Museum and Archives with all kinds of baked goods.
Cakes available will include a cherry chocolate chip cake, coconut cake, vanilla cake, chocolate crème cheesecake, chocolate bundt cake, pound cake, pineapple poke cake, cupcake bouquet cake, strawberry cake, honey bun bundt cake, coconut butter pecan bundt cake, Butterfinger cake, triple chocolate cake, carrot cake, and Italian crème cake. There will also be banana bread, snickerdoodle cobbler, bread pudding, chocolate chip cookies, a chocolate chip pie, pecan pies, coconut pies, and apple pies.
The bake sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with proceeds going to the museum.
The museum also recently received a donation from the PEO Chapter AY of Wynne.
Mary Helen Winkler of the PEO presented the check last week to museum director Becky Taylor. The museum thanked the ladies of the PEO for hosting their meeting at the museum and for the donation.
The Cross County Museum and Archives is located at 741 E. Union Avenue on the campus of the Cross County Courthouse in Wynne.
