State Rep. Rye commends EPC for athletic, academic achievements in legislative resolution

LEPANTO — State Rep. Johnny Rye of Trumann recently introduced a resolution on the House floor in Little Rock to recognize the East Poinsett County School District.

The resolution, HR 1056, honored the district for being named the 2A state runner-up in football, the 2A state champions in boys’ basketball, and the success of the girls’ tennis team.

The EPC High School band also received high ratings at state.
