FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — First-year Arkansas head coach Ryan Silverfield asked for fan support during his weekly news conference Monday in Fayetteville.
The Hogs lost to Utah 43-10 in Salt Lake City Saturday and will host the Georgia Bulldogs this Saturday.
Upper level tickets for the game were selling for as low as $35 on social media, indicating a loss of interest from fans.
One of Silverfield’s top priorities since taking over as head coach at Arkansas has been to improve home performances.
Arkansas has not beaten a Power 4 opponent at Reynolds Razorback Stadium since October 2024 and is 1-10 in such games in the last three years.
In addition, Arkansas has lost 11 straight SEC games. The Hogs are 1-1 on the season. Georgia is 2-0 and rated second in the nation behind Texas.
The game kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday in Fayetteville. The Country 92.5 broadcast begins at 8 a.m. Saturday.
Arkansas State
Arkansas State travels to TCU Saturday for a 7 p.m. kickoff. That game will be aired on KWYN AM 1400/FM 102.9/FM 106.9 and Oldies 102.3, beginning at 5 p.m.
