Second Chance Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Shelter in Wynne has released its figures for February, which details its outreach to survivors in eastern Arkansas.
In February, Second Chance served 13 guests in its emergency shelter with 190 safe nights and served 16 people through its outreach program.
The organization held 33 support groups and visited Brinkley High School, educating 165 teens about teen dating violence.
Second Chance also partnered with the Wynne High School arts program with 15 students participating in the “What is Love” art contest.
A total of 26 callers were served through the emergency crisis helpline at 870-587-8044.
