WYNNE — The city of Wynne issued an advisory after several residents reported receiving calls from someone pretending to be from the Wynne Police Department.
The city said the calls are coming from a number not typically used by officers. Anyone who receives a phone call claiming to be from the department is asked to not provide any personal details, hang up and call the Wynne Police Department at 870-238-8718.
Residents should let the police secretary know they received a call and provide the number the call came from.
