WYNNE — The Cross County Sheriff’s Office responded to a pedestrian versus train accident shortly after 3 a.m. this morning.
Cross County Sheriff David West said 38-year-old Charles Pittman was walking on the railroad when he was struck by a train and killed.
Sheriff West said both the man and the train were traveling north.
The incident happened just north of County Road 344, east of the Possum City community.
