Tressa Ann Ball, 61, of Wynne, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday, April 11, 2024, at her home.
Tressa was born on July 9, 1962, to the late Glendon Loren “Tack” Marcum and Betty Louise Doss Marcum. She was married to Jerry Dale “J. D.” Ball. They worked hard and raised four children, Jerry Glen, Shelly Ann, Jared Ray, and Jeremy Bruce.
She was a rural carrier for the United States Postal Service for many years. Tressa loved her family, especially her grandchildren, traveling, her dogs, and going on cruises. She enjoyed coaching softball, touching the lives of many girls over the years.
She passed away on her late husband’s birthday, J. D. Even though her family will miss her, they know that they are sharing a wonderful celebration reunion.
She is survived by her children, Jerry Glen Ball, and wife Bethany, Shelly Ann Ball, Jared Ray Ball, and wife Mandi, and Jeremy Bruce Ball, and wife Nikki, all of Wynne; and grandchildren, Ashlan Ball Hamrick and husband Triston, Mac Ball, Lilli Ball, Tacker Ball, Campbell Ball, Crew Ball, Grant Ball, Bryer Ball, and Jerri Dayle Ball. She is also survived by her sister, Sherry McDaniel; brother, Denny Marcum; and aunt-second mom, Lynda “Aunt Sue” Baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Ball; parents, Tack and Betty Marcum; and brothers, Gerry “Stick” Marcum and Glen Marcum.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Harris Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Kirk Martin officiating.
