Scott Allen Hendrix, 50, a resident of Colt, departed this life Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026, in Paragould. He was born Aug. 6, 1976, in Wynne, the son of William Gail and Ellen Faye Holloway Hendrix.
Scott earned an associate’s degree from EACC in Forrest City and spent most of his life working as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and riding four-wheelers and tractors. With his wonderful sense of humor, he embraced life fully and was a joy to be around. He deeply loved his children, especially snuggling with them while watching television. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ellen Hendrix; and one brother, Mark Aaron Hendrix.
Survivors include the mother of his children, Amanda Patterson of Cherry Valley; one son, Ryan Hendrix of Cherry Valley; one daughter, Emma Hendrix of Cherry Valley; one brother, Eric Hendrix of Colt; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In keeping with Scott’s wishes, there will be no services held at this time.
