Ms. Sara Ann Pugh Turley, a resident of Little Rock, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, at Good Shepherd Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Little Rock at the age of 80. She was born Sept. 29, 1945, in Augusta, Arkansas, the daughter of Edwin and Hester (Lewis) Pugh.
She graduated from McCrory High School with the Class of 1964 and later worked as a unit secretary at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock for many years. Sara was of the Christian faith. Sara found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed spending time with coloring books, working word puzzles, and relaxing while watching television.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Hester Pugh; and two brothers, Donald Pugh and Jim Pugh.
Sara leaves to cherish her memory two sisters, Sue Jones of North Little Rock, Arkansas, and Marion Adkins and her husband, Rick, of Joplin, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, at Woodman Cemetery near McCrory, Arkansas.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Sara’s nephews and great-nephews.
