Sandra Taylor, 80, of Forrest City, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, at the CrossRidge Hospital in Wynne. She had been in poor health for the past four years.
Mrs. Taylor was born on April 7, 1943, in Forrest City, and was the daughter of Alvah Leslie and Minnie Counts Leslie Heath. She lived in St. Francis County all of her life, was a homemaker, and was a member of Smith Chapel Church.
Mrs. Taylor married Lloyd Taylor in 1960, and he survives her along with two sons, Lloyd Taylor Jr., and wife, Virginia, and Shane Taylor, all of Forrest City; one daughter, Tina Franks, and husband, Jamie, of Forrest City; two sisters, Joan Ramsey of Wynne and Carolyn McCain, and husband, Ralph, of Forrest City; seven grandchildren, Bradley, and wife, Brandi, Leigh Anna, and husband, Nic, Taylor, and husband, Hunter, Ashtin, Hunter, Heath, and Maci; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lora Jean Taylor.
Graveside services for Mrs. Taylor will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, at the Hughes Cemetery in Forrest City. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Monday at Stevens Funeral Home. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
