Richard D. Hill, 68, of Forrest City, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, at the Forrest City Medical Center in Forrest City. He had been in the hospital for the past five days.
Mr. Hill was born Sept. 25, 1955, in Long Beach, Calif., and was the son of Floyd B. Hill and Margaret Turner Hill. He lived in Forrest City most of his life, was a lineman, a member of the I.B.E.W., and attended the Oak Hill Church of God.
Mr. Hill is survived by one son, Alex C. Hill, and wife, Angela, of Greers Ferry, Ark.; one daughter, Melissa Hill of Forrest City; one brother, Steve Hill of Bentonville, Ark.; and six grandchildren. He had one brother, Michael Hill, who preceded him in death.
Graveside services for Mr. Hill will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19, 2024, at the McCurley Cemetery in Holly Grove. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, at Stevens Funeral Home, with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
