Jeannie Michelle McCoy Swaite, 54, of Searcy, died on Wednesday, March 28, 2024, at her home.
Jeannie was born on Feb. 6, 1970, to Jerry McCoy and the late Ethel Myrtle Jarrett Birkhead. She was a homemaker for many years, enjoyed fishing, talking with close friends, and loved her cats. She was a good wife and loved being a mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Bradley Layne Swaite of Searcy; sons, Eric Earl and wife Catlyn of Washington state, Derrik Earl and wife Bella of Bella Vista; stepdaughter, Whitney Nicole Swaite of Florida; stepson, Brady Layne Swaite of Wynne; brother, Jerry McCoy of Wynne; sisters, Susie Stutts and Candy Hunt, both of Wynne; stepbrothers, Kenneth Sanders of Wynne, and Chad Sanders of Biscoe. She is also survived by her father, Jerry E. McCoy, and wife Linda, and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Myrtle Jarrett Birkhead in 2011.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024, at Kernodle Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Duane Williams officiating. Burial will be in Vanndale Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Wynne Friends of Animals or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
