Dallas Lorene Smith, resident of Wynne, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at CrossRidge Community Hospital in Wynne at the age of 29. Dallas was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on Nov. 17, 1994, the daughter of Randall and Diana (Williams) Smith.
Dallas attended Cross County Schools through her sophomore year. She attended her junior and senior years at Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts, graduating in 2013. She furthered her education at the University of Central Arkansas where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2015 and at the University of West Florida where she studied Organizational Psychology. In her spare time, Dallas enjoyed activities that kept her busy and challenged her mind. She loved drawing, creative writing, and being outdoors, especially fishing, camping, and swimming.
Dallas was preceded in death by her mother; paternal grandparents, Presley and Lorene Smith; and maternal grandparents, Elbert and Doris Williams.
She is survived by her father, Randall Smith of Wynne; bonus mom, Shelly Mitleff of Wynne; two brothers, Bubba Smith and partner, Deena Darnell, of Vanndale, and Noah Mitleff of Wynne; a sister, Ella Mitleff of Wynne; a nephew, Hutson Edwards; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A family-led celebration of life will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 104 Meeks Rd., Colt, AR 72326.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Second Chance Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Shelter.
