Carolyn Sue Nicholas, 80, of Forrest City, died Friday, July 31, 2026, at the St. Bernard’s Hospital in Jonesboro. She had been in poor health for the past six months.
Carolyn was born Feb. 3, 1946, in Wynne and was the daughter of Ernest McCoy and Littie Wiggly McCoy. She lived in Forrest City most of her life, was retired from Sanyo, and was a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
Carolyn married Danny Nicholas in 1964, and he preceded her in death in 2001. She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Nicholas of Forrest City and Susan Pruitt; four grandchildren, Kayla, Shelby, Carolyn, and Matthew; and six great-grandchildren.
