Carol Ann Tacker, 81, a lifelong resident of Wynne, departed this life, Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, in Jonesboro with her family by her side. She was born on June 11, 1945, in Harlan, Kentucky, the daughter of Henry and Carrie Anne Brock Saylor.
She worked at Addison Shoe factory and Halstead for a time but mostly enjoyed being home with her family. She enjoyed eating out, being entertained and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Carrie Saylor; and her husband of 63 years, Ronald Eugene Tacker.
Survivors include three sons, Ronnie Tacker, Jr. and Cristie of Jonesboro, Shane Tacker and Danielle of Missouri and Joshua Tacker of Wynne; three daughters, Carrie Deeds and Buddy of Jonesboro, Karen Draper and Clay Peevey of Wynne, and Lisa Tacker and Mike Hulen of Wynne; four brothers; four sisters; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
The family will host a memorial service to be announced at a later date.
