Bryce R. Smith, 82, of Wynne, died on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, in Jonesboro, Ark.
Bryce was born on Oct. 10, 1941, in Wynne, Ark., to the late Malcolm William Smith and Annabell Wallin Smith. He retired in 1999 from UPS. He loved to garden, hunt, cook and loved to eat. He enjoyed traveling to the beach and to Ohio to the Amish country. Bryce was an avid Arkansas Razorback basketball fan.
He married Peggy Sue Marcus in 1997 and she survives him. He is also survived by his daughters, Sherri Hess and husband, Darrell, of Wynne, Marsha Cohn of Forrest City and fiancé, Max Caldwell, Karen Pitts of Wynne, Jenni Caskey and husband, Josh, of Palestine; stepson, Wesley Clarkson and wife, Krista, of Wynne; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Annabell Smith; and sisters, Wanda Dunn and Janice Sefers.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, at Three Trees Cowboy Church. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Tracy Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Crosslawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Three Trees Cowboy Church.
