Betty S. Beazley, 85, of Forrest City, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024.
Mrs. Beazley was born Oct. 17, 1938, and was the daughter of Burrell L. Stephens and Anna B. Biggerstaff Stephens. She was a retired school teacher and administrator for the Forrest City Public Schools with 50 years of service. She was very active in several community organizations and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Forrest City.
Mrs. Beazley is survived by three daughters, Melanie Beazley, Jonny Beth Clapp, and Jamie Beazley; one son, James Walton Beazley IV; one brother, David Stephens, and wife, Linda; and two grandchildren, Daniel Keith Clapp and Anna Lee Clapp.
A visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church Gymnasium, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
