WYNNE — The Wynne softball Lady Jackets are considering a move within the Wynne Sports Complex.
Wynne Mayor Jennifer Hobbs said she has been approached by administrators from the Wynne School District about relocating the girls’ softball field from its current location to one next to the field used by the Wynne baseball Yellowjackets.
The move is possible thanks in part to the Cross County baseball and softball teams relocating from the Wynne Sports Complex to their own fields in Cherry Valley.
Hobbs said the school district will share in the cost of preparing the new field for the softball team.
