WYNNE — The Wynne Yellowjackets have won their second Yarnell’s Ice Cream Sweetest Play of the Week award of the 2026 season.
The Jackets beat Walnut Ridge in this week’s voting by a total of 512 votes. Wynne had 1,282 votes compared to 770 votes for Walnut Ridge. Marked Tree was third with 653 votes.
The Jackets were recognized for their tricky off the double hand-off from Kaden Dixon to X’Zavion Scott for a touchdown in their 44-12 win at Brookland in last week’s 5A East opener.
Yarnell’s will make a donation to the Wynne Fumble Club for winning the Sweetest Play of the Week award.
