WYNNE — The Wynne Yellowjackets will have two new opponents when they take the field next fall, although one is an Arkansas Activities Association jamboree match-up.
Both of the new opponents are not all that new. Wynne will play Osceola for their AAA benefit game after playing Searcy in the game for several years. The Jackets will also renew their rivalry with West Memphis this fall. The Blue Devils will replace Lonoke on Wynne’s schedule.
The Jackets open the season at home against Marion Aug. 28 and then host Forrest City Sept. 4. Wynne will play at West Memphis on Sept. 11 and then open 5A East play at Brookland on Sept. 25 after an off week on Sept. 18.
After that, it’s Greene County Tech at home on Oct. 2, at Valley View on Oct. 9, at home against Batesville on Oct. 16, at Paragould on Oct. 23, at home against Harding Academy on Oct. 30, and at Nettleton on Nov. 6.
Wynne will have five home and five away games this fall.
