WYNNE — The Wynne Yellowjackets are once again a nominee for the Yarnell’s Sweetest Play of the Week award.
The Jackets were nominated for their tricky double handoff in their 44-12 win at Brookland Friday night. Wynne won the first Yarnell’s Sweetest Play of the Week award for the 2026 season.
The other nominees are Marked Tree, 46-24 winners over Cross County, and Walnut Ridge, which beat Harrisburg 47-20.
Voting is open online through 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Yarnell’s will make a donation to the booster club of the winning school.
