WYNNE — A fourth suspect has now been arrested in connection with the theft of two vehicles from a Cross County farm shop in January.
The Cross County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Zackery Baldwin Thursday. Baldwin is charged with five counts of theft of property, first-degree criminal mischief, fleeing on foot, criminal trespass, and obstructing governmental operations.
Baldwin is the younger brother of Adam Baldwin, one of three people arrested in January following the reported theft of a 2011 Ford F-250 and 2004 Jeep from an area farm shop. The truck was found abandoned in a pond near Cross County High School. The three suspects were apprehended in the Jeep by Arkansas State Police after a brief chase in Crittenden County.
Cross County Sheriff David West said the charges placed against the younger Baldwin all stem from that earlier incident.
