Family offers $1,000 reward for information on woman found dead in Forrest City

FORREST CITY — The family of a St. Francis County woman whose body was found stuffed into a plastic storage tote in February is now offering a $1,000 reward, hoping to entice someone to come forward with information.

The body of 42-year-old Troy Strope was found by teenagers on four-wheelers back on February 20 along St. Francis County Road 731. Investigators say forensic evidence gathered at the site, and a house in Forrest City, are still being analyzed at the Arkansas State Crime Lab.

No arrests have been made in the case.

A “Justice for Troy Strope” Facebook group and a GoFundMe account have been established.
