FORREST CITY — The main campus of East Arkansas Community College in Forrest City was temporarily cleared Thursday afternoon following a bomb threat.
The college notified students and staff of the threat shortly after 1 p.m., and the campus was dismissed in an orderly fashion for everyone’s safety.
Law enforcement and the fire department responded to the campus on Newcastle Road and followed their bomb threat procedure.
After clearing the campus, EACC proceeded with all evening classes and activities as scheduled.
