CHERRY VALLEY — The Cross County School District will introduce a new sport starting next week — volleyball.
Practice will begin Monday at the Cross County Elementary School gym.
Volleyball will be open to 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Practices will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., with 7th and 8th graders practicing Monday and 6th graders practicing Wednesday.
The district said students are encouraged to come learn the game, build their skills and help launch a new sport at Cross County.
