Yesterday’s Junior PECO Relays at Pocahontas was another one for the record books at Cross County.
The junior girls 4×800 relay team of Nataly Wilson, Madisyn Wilson, Audrey Wood, and Carley Jones finished fifth overall, but their time of 12:46.41 broke the record set just last year of 12:58.41.
In other results yesterday, Rico Coffey finished first in the 200-meter dash and eighth overall in the 100-meter dash. Ashlyn Richardson finished second in the discus and third in the shot put. Jessie Venzen was fourth in the 100-meter dash and fifth in the 200-meter dash, and the girls’ 4×400 relay team finished third overall. That team includes Madisyn Wilson, Carley Jones, Zarriah Robinson, and Jessie Venzen.
