WYNNE — A total of 43 pounds, 8.8 ounces of prescription drugs were collected for disposal by the Cross County Sheriff’s Office during Saturday’s National Drug Take Back Day event.

The Cross County Sheriff’s Office reminds those who may have missed Drug Take Back Day that the department is a year-round pharmaceutical disposal location.

There is a secure box for disposing of medications located in the lobby. The box is available to Cross County residents 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
