CHERRY VALLEY — The Cross County School Board handled several school choice requests and personnel matters during a special meeting Monday night.
As previously reported, Derek Harrell has been hired by the district as the new boys’ basketball coach. His official start date has been confirmed as Monday, June 17.
The board also approved the hiring of Raven Boward, 2nd grade teacher, and Jessica Sheffer, speech therapist.
The resignation of Wendi Smith was also approved at the end of her contract.
The Cross County School Board’s next regular meeting is set for this Monday, May 20.
