CHERRY VALLEY — Cross County High School will celebrate academic success tonight with its annual scholastic banquet for 7th through 12th graders.
Cross County High School Principal Cody Goulart said the banquet will kick off a busy few days for the class of 2024, which culminates with graduation next Friday.
“We’re recognizing our students that have done well achieving in the classroom and academically,” Goulart said. “We roll into baccalaureate this Sunday and then graduation stuff and having that student walk and just celebrating our seniors and letting them reminiscence on their last week of school here coming up and just glorifying them over these next few days.”
Goulart said the Class of 2024 is one of the biggest in recent years.
“Our graduating class this year is 46,” he said. “We are very excited and ready to promote what they’ve done. Just the amount of academic money these kids have brought in individually to better their careers, themselves, and their families for the future… It is just astonishing what they have gone out and achieved.”
Graduation for the Cross County High School Class of 2024 is set for 7 p.m. next Friday, May 10, at Thunderbird Stadium.
