The EAST at Cross County High School team of Bo Cook, Lexi Jarrett, and Mali Wallis placed third in the second annual Thrown to the Wolves competition Wednesday at Arkansas State University.

For the “Shark Tank” style competition, students were tasked with designing a project and creating a marketing plan. They then pitched their product to a panel of judges for 30 seconds in round one. The finalists then had three minutes to pitch to a different panel of judges.

The Cross County team designed the “Button Buddy” to help those with limited mobility button their clothing.
