CROSS COUNTY — The Arkansas Department of Education released the official 2025-26 district and school letter grades Thursday.
Districts are graded on achievement, growth, graduation and readiness.
The department said 26 districts received an A while nine received Fs. A total of 115 got Bs with 87 getting Cs and 17 Ds. Individual schools were also rated.
All but one of the schools in Cross County scored Cs. That includes all of the schools in the Wynne School District — the high school, junior high, intermediate and primary school — and Cross County High School.
Cross County Elementary School scored a B.
