WYNNE — Kimberly Cooper, a former farm loan program technician for the USDA Farm Service Agency in Cross County, is now the District Manager for the Cross County Conservation District.
Cooper replaces Lamar Rolland, who retired from the position April 30.
In her new role, Cooper will help lead the district’s work with local landowners and producers on soil and water conservation programs, as well as other natural resource management initiatives.
The Cross County Conservation District works alongside local agricultural partners to provide conservation information, technical assistance and resources to area landowners.
