CHERRY VALLEY — The City of Cherry Valley has received a $15,000 Rural Community Grant from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
The city said it will contribute another $15,000 for the matching grant through its recently approved 1% sales tax, bringing the total funding for the project to $30,000.
The funds will be used to purchase playground equipment for the new city park.
