CHERRY VALLEY — The city of Cherry Valley said its playground at the city park is now open to the community.
The city said the playground is a step forward in the continued development of the park and community.
The city received a $15,000 Rural Community Grant for the new playground equipment. It also received a Great Strides Walking Trail Grant worth nearly $220,000 that will continue development of the park.
The city asks that residents take care of the new playground equipment and the park so that the community can enjoy it for years to come.
