CHERRY VALLEY — Cross County Elementary Principal Jessica Stacy is getting in the dunk booth for Cherry Fest.
Stacy will be in the booth sponsored by the Cherry Valley Fire Department starting at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Kindergarten teacher Bethany Niswonger is also planning to be in the booth, along with other guests to be announced.
It’s six balls for $5 or $7 for an automatic dunk. The dunk booth is a fundraiser for the Cherry Valley Fire Department.
The department is also hosting a raffle for a Mossberg 400 rifle with a Vortex scope and a box of ammunition. Tickets are one for $5 or five for $20.
Proceeds from the raffle will help support firefighter training, emergency response equipment, community fire prevention programs, and department operations and improvements.
Tickets are available from any Cherry Valley firefighter. The drawing will be held during Cherry Fest Saturday.
